Your workout log

Winter is not a good time for many of us to keep fit and maintain or loose weight.  If you want to get fit and loose the weight for summer, the best time is to start now!

The best way to ensure you stick to your exercise programme is to keep track of your progress on paper.  There will be no escaping the truth when it is in black and white!

Normal body fat percentage (non-athlete range) is between 24-31% and optimal is between 19-22%.  To measure your fat percentage see your Biokineticist.

V02 max: Log the time it takes your to run or walk 2,5km.  Aim to walk it in 15 minutes or less.

Your waist to hip ratio can be obtained by dividing your waist measurement (in cm) by your hip measurement (in cm).  A measurement under 0,8 is ideal.

Your BMI should also be calculated.  Your BMI is your Body Mass Index.  A BMI of 18,5 - 25 is considered optimal.  This too can be calculated by your Biokineticist.
