Many injuries are posture-related. Within many of today’s working environments (such as desk-based computing) and with general lifestyle demands (commuting or driving) most people suffer from poor posture because they are sitting down most of the time. Resistance training and stretching can help to improve this under the guidance of a Biokineticist.

As a Biokineticist I can assist with orthopedic conditions by doing a postural, musculoskeletal and flexibility assessment with subsequent exercise prescription. I can assist people with the following conditions or injuries: neck and back conditions or injuries (including scoliosis); shoulder conditions or injuries (including frozen shoulder) as well as hip, knee and ankle conditions.
